This course is for anyone interested in balancing their whole system though Yoga and Ayurveda. We use time as a way to instill the various knowledge and practices of self healing and self care into your life. This course runs over six weekends, one weekend a month for six months.

It feels like it is the right time to bring Ayurveda on to our mat, with our Yoga practice.
What this course offers every weekend:
The weekends are the necessary time you need to pace your education. We learn and absorb more information when we are relaxed. This is specifically time away from other responsibilities. Your focus can then remain on you and all you need to integrate and sustain your medicine.
You will practice Yoga asana(Yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing practices), relaxation, meditation, mantra & mudra(subtle Yoga).
You will explore practical ways of incorporating Yoga practice into your life, together with the simple daily self-care from Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is a natural medicine, developed from and in the home and hearth with Soul. Ayurveda offers various ways to heal and re-balance from the inside out, including how Ayurvedic nutrition can help balance the body and mind. The side effects of Ayurveda medicine are understanding, compassion and a heightened awareness of exactly what is balancing for us, what is not and why.
You will learn the essential Ayurvedic tools of assessment, that will refine how Yoga and Ayurveda can be your living medicine.
You will also have personalised home study practices and to assist you in bringing these traditional sciences into your life. This home study is not intrusive, but is designed to give each student another new practice to work with.
The knowledge you receive on this course is unique for each person, as is the nature of Ayurveda and Yoga.
The syllabus covered is suitable for all Yoga practitioners, short or long term and all interested in holistic health.
Whatever you come with, this is your start point. This course aims to give students tools to use and share. But more than that, each student will have the foundation of information to identify the root cause of imbalance and also ways to assist themselves and others in recovery and re-balance.
This is time to come out of the ordinary, to learn, discuss, absorb, to enjoy, to explore and to press the pause button on ‘being busy’.
During the series of weekends, you will have continued support from your educator and Yoga teacher, Kelly Marie Mills.
This course takes place over six months, one weekend a month for six consecutive months or thereabouts. All weekends are pre-paid, if you miss a weekend due to other arrangement, you can differ this space for the next course taking place.
